August 25th, 2011I got these photos of a mature doe that seems to have some kind of infection in her utter (milk bags). I am not sure what is going on with her. My Dad suggested it could be milk fever which is a condition that occurs when the demand for calcium for milk production exceeds the body’s ability to mobilize calcium reserves. I will watch for her in trail camera photos and will keep you up to date as to what happens with her.
